Hi Everybody,
I just want to put out an open invitation for anyone in the central NY area who would like to see and handle some of Albion's swords. The models I have are:
Migration Type D
Acre
Hastings
Stamford
LaTene II
Mainz gladius
Crusader
I wish I could say they are mine but alas ......
PM or email me and we can set up convenient times.

Hey Harlan,
Sounds great, but what about those of us on the left coast??? I am VERY interested in Albion's Mainz gladius and would love to get my mitts on one

Harlan told me that his PJ is with Eric McHugh , at Albion, to have a scabbard made for it !

Hi Howard,
It's up at Ablion like Mac says. Left it there for Eric and Peter to collaborate on a scabbard/belt for it. I think it's probably sitting in Eric's workshop in a gun case.
Why don't you take a road trip end of next week and we'll all play with it a bit. Might even be able to scare up a bottle of Oban if I knew you were coming .....

That Kevin, Peter and I have been consulting about your scabbard. Kevin shaped a nice core for it this week. We were out of leather, but it came in so my hope is that by the time you are here you will have something significant to look at and maybe take home.

Not worried about it Eric. Knew it was in good hands and to tell you the truth, having it out there with you keeps it out of trouble here (just ask Mike about the Crecy I sent to Jason!) Have Mike email me a rough guesstimate on cost and I'll bring it with me when I come.
Really looking forward to seeing the whole gang!

Actually, the PJ's waiting for me up north. We haven't met as yet. I'm sure that Eric's been touching it on a regular basis though. (Eric you slut!)

What day you plan on being there, Harlan ? I have to take my son on a field trip (well I am going along,actually), on thursday, but I sure would like to come up and see Peter again, and visit the gang at Albion. Sounds like a fun time ! I will try to come up at some point.

We get in Thursday, late afternoon, and will be there until Sunday morning.
It would be great to see you again!
What with the people that will be there and the fact that there will be at least 9 swords of Peter's making to handle, my heart is just going pitter patter to beat the band! 
And speaking of Vince ..... I sent off a couple of his things and they should be there for the group to grope as well.
