It has been my privilege to know Garth Duncan as a friend and as a craftsman for many years. If I had to recommend any one sword to a collector, it would be his Jacobite Chieftain. It is a work of art and a weapon of distinction. The balance of the basket is superb. It acts as a pivoting fulcrum for very fast sword work. I've never known better.

Besides, look at the thing!

It's gorgeous.

You should check out his dirks as well. Any eccentric millionaires out there want to buy up his whole collection for me?

I first saw the Chief about a year ago, and have yet to see a basket of such magnitude. Stunning.....I wish I could afford one. Just the basket alone, unbladed, would be an heirloom to pass down for HUNDREDS of years. That's the only words I have to describe it. I bet Thomas is squirmin' in his kilt.
