This 6 in tanto features a single bevel high speed steel blade and a hand woven waxed cord grip.
Let me know what you think (or if you would like it purchase it or somthing similar)

First reaction: It's nice; attractive in a crude but not actually crude way.
I give it 5/5. I can't buy it from you, but I do wonder what something like that would cost?
As an aside, the blade shape is known as American Tanto by some; actual tanto blades are more like these.
Your stuff is always interesting. How difficult was the cordwork on the grip?

This piece is sold, the cost for a similar piece would be in the sub $50 USD range.
Yes, it isn't a true tanto, just a quote ( that is a beautiful example you posted by the way).
The cordwork isn't all that hard. It is just a matter of figuring out the pattern and keeping track of where you are, but then I used to run custom knotwork business.
