|
|
I love gladii and the piece of history they represent ("sword that conquered the world" and all that). I have a couple of re-enactment quality blunt pieces at the moment and one low quality sharp, but for my next high quality sword I would like a well-made, sharp and functional gladius.
As much as I would love to purchase another Albion the £450 price tag on their Allectus (the Mainz style gladius is my personal favourite) is a little much for me right now - and that's with their July sale!
Where else in Europe (or preferably the UK) can I find a good gladius to meet my needs?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Emmet.

You might consider getting one from Fulvio Del Tin. I am not sure what the shipping/tax situation would be, but it probably would not hurt to check!

Whilst the Del Tin Mainz is a beautiful gladius, and just the type I want, they don't make sharpened blades (to the best of my knowledge anyway).
