Brilliant!
I've been looking all over for tips, manufacturing techniques, patterns, and overall articles on historical maille armour. This is a very welcome link.
Thanks for posting!

You are welcome. Also note that the Society has a new forum dedicated to the study of mail armour which can be found here:

Thank you for posting the link to these excellent papers. Perhaps it is just me, but I had to download and save each one in order to view it. Adobe kept giving me an error if I tried to open them in the browser. Basically that the %pdf file descriptor was missing from the document header.

Its was not just you. I'm experiencing the same phenomena.

Adobe 9 pro says only that there isn't a language specification in the pdf, a common problems of many pdf creator, but I don't think it's the problem with the online viewer. If someone can't access them even after downloading just PM me and I can re-print them. This isn't the first time the internet plugins of adobe give me problems (I disabled it some times ago).
Anyway, a very good site for a mailmaker: thanks for the posting! (Now, if only I can return to study something for the next exam...)

After updating/upgrading your Acrobat Reader, the PDF files can be accessed without any problems.
