Hello everyone! I was looking to buy a Dha that is of authentic make and fully functional. I located a site called cozun.com that allows you to customize your own sword. I was wondering if anyone has a sword from this vendor, and if so what is the quality of the blade. The blades are historically used as a tool and as weapons, and I would like one that can stand up to both forms of abuse. I am not looking for anything fancy, perhaps something a Thai commoner would carry as a tool. Anyone have any idea? Thanks a lot everyone.

You can get a good idea at the site cozun.com where you can get them to pretty much build a darb from the ground up. You can chose blade material, blade shape, tang construction, blade engravings, handle, scabbard, etc. My question was does anyone know the quality of these blades, are they functional or just decorative. You can only tell so much from the pictures. I am after first hand experiance. Also for a plethora of images of antique dhas and darbs visit http://www.arscives.com/historysteel/continentalsea.article.htm
