Had a thought about an hour ago:
My sister is really into Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I looked into getting her the replica of Buffy's Sythe, but it's $200 for a zinc toy. I took some time looking at the sucker though and I think I might be able to fake one up, but am lacking anything but a side view and the overall length of 37 inches. Does anyone have any good pictures or more information on it?
(Yeah, I know, I know, I want to put new hilts on and make scabbards for two of my swords, make a scabbard for a dagger, make a coat of plates, etc, etc... I need a couple of months off so I can actually put some money where my mouth is....)

There are a thousand versions of the same picture on the internet. Why don't you take a look at a poll-arm that is very similar to the slayer's scythe, variously called a bardiche, bardische, or sparth.
I miss that show.
