Hi
Today (Sunday April 19) I went to watch a ahow of "Japanese equestrian archery".
This event was held in KAMAKURA city.
It was crowded with very many people. And there were many foreign tourists, too...
I'm a Japanese and I interested in "European Medieval Arms and Armors".
But I hardly know the "Japanese Medieval Arms and Armors"...
If you have interest... Please look at the official site. The official site is commented on in the English.
http://www.yabusame.or.jp/english/ (this link to English pages)
I took the following photos.
There are too many people... I was not able to watch...
illust from a free pamphlet.
Front of a free pamphlet.
I'm interested in Medieval Arms and Armor.
But... My English is very poor ><;

Thanks for the pictures and the link. Really would love to see yabusame in person, even if I myself is a foot archer. Too bad I really don't have the time to shoot that often with my yumi.
