On Saturday 18 April 2009, Matt Easton of Schola Gladiatoria is giving 6 hours of medieval weapon training in Ealing, West London, based on authentic medieval manuals.

Ideal for people who want to try out European martial arts for the first time or experienced practitioners. All are welcome.

The system being taught is from Fiore dei Liberi's early-15th century treatises and is a complete combat system for the knightly classes.

This training day will focus on unarmed defence against the rondel dagger, use of the rondel dagger and swordsmanship with the longsword.

Matt Easton has been working with Fiore dei Liberi's system for a decade and has taught at events across Europe.

Schola Gladiatoria is one of Europe's leading Historical European Martial Arts schools, with a track record of tournament wins.

The day only costs £30 and all equipment is provided. Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The course will run on Saturday 18 April from 10am-5pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
