Hello All,
I'll be heading to Dublin in about a month and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for MUST-SEE museums or exhibits.
Of course I'll be trying to hit every museum I can, but I didn't know if there was any certain one I should make a beeline for as soon as I get off the plane.
Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.

The gold is good, and there are a few decent viking and bronze weapons etc..

Seconded. The National Museum in Dublin is a definate must see. From gorgeous bronze age swords (including the moulds), shields, spearheads, horns to the fantastic iron age, early medieval collections. Even if you're not into the early stuff, you might be after visiting the museum

When I visited Ireland with a study abroad group in 2003, our hostel in downtown Dublin was right next door to Christ Church Cathedral. If my memory serves me correctly, it wasn't far from Trinity College. While not a museum per se, Christ Church Cathedral is one of Dublin's historical treasures. Definitely a must see!

Great! The National Museum is definitely at the top of my list!
As a bonus, I was already planning to see Christ Church Cathedral and Trinity College. Good to know they're actually a worthwhile stop.
Thanks for all the responses guys.
