while waiting for the new Pentax IST D to come out....I have been shopping for a mini camcorder so who has one of these things and what do you like/dislike about yours? I will be mounting it to my risers so it needs to be very small but also I would like to take decent pics...

Here's a rather dark comparison pic of the 5161 and Peter's Svante Nilsson Sture sword. The 5161 is inspired by the SNS.

The CASI 'Mercenary' (see Nathan's collection), fullers apart, shows a superficial resemblance too.

Great shot Björn, when I first saw Peter's Svante and at that time could not afford a custom....I had to have something kinda close so I got the chance to purchase a new 516..it works for me till Albion brings forth the Svante...is that a D.T 5161 in your picture? Mine looks different with the ricasso not cut out as much and the pommel looking a little different

Yup, that's a 5161 all right. The pic was taken about three years ago, so Fulvio might have changed the design somewhat since then. I had one custom made for a customer last year, and it wasn't bad at all.

You like the del tin version better then the reproduction of the original? To each his own of course but... I like the Del Tin version too, and I like my own versions as well but that is not going to stop me from getting the Albion version.

Here's mine, it's not to badly off but it's still not exactly there. The pommel is a little different, the ricasso a little different, the blade is diamond cross section instead of hollow ground.

I think the CASI sword is an attempt at a reproduction of the XX.4 from Records.
The resemblance to the Sture sword is in the hilt, overall size and blade to grip proportions.
