Well everyone,

After seeing the photo Zac Evans posted in spectacular armour with the appropriately beautiful lady, I thought a separate thread for this kind of melding of form, beauty, and function would make a popular destination. So, go ahead and post your best pictures.

Can't wait to see them all.... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

(Please also remember to strive for quality composed photos, and sized appropriately if possible)

Arne Coets, professional jouster, at the tournament at the tower '08.

It was great fun for all.

I got some photos this weekend in front of Herstmonceux castle with myself in the black doublet and leg harness and my friend Holly in the Gold dress. Sorry its not full harness, but it is knightly enough I think:

A very good reconstruction of a chivalrous scene.

Nice to see.

And a bit of armour when dealing with women, however angelical they might appear at first encounter, is never an unnecessary precaution.

No kidding! I missed that photo of Ed and Brian back in '09 (nice ratio BTW). Wink

I'll do some digging, although my Lady is usually the photographer. Sad

Lady with Arne Koets at Tower is Izabella Pitcher of 'Prior Attire' here in UK. She made that dress herself, plus many other fine items of costume for others before and since.
