Holy Thread Bump Batman!
But, at least you didn't make a new one. It's a shame to see copies being sold as originals.

We have had our swords molded and copied by other manufacturers, names for products and general designs (of even original fantasy pieces, like those by Jody) copied.
After a while, it just gets amusing.

Yes! I've SEEN some copies of Jody's work, on eBay! They had lousy 420 stainless blades.
It was really shocking. I believe I remember four or five separate designs. I wonder if they moulded components right off the swords, and if so how they got their hands on them.
Tempered steel and tempered spirit are the foremost attributes of a man at arms.

WOW! You know I forgot all about this thread, and I started it! Crazy to see how many responses there were. It's also funny to see where my collecting head was back then. I didn't end up keeping the sword and just stuck with Albion and later branched out to A&A as well. From what I understand they've made leaps and bounds since I picked up that sword on Ebay.

I don't know if anyone has seen SBG's reviews of DSA swords, but here's the one for the two hand gothic. From what I've seen and read they're pretty good buys in the sub $300 range.
