wow, a true masterpiece, the price isn't even that intimidating given those photos and what I know first hand of Albion quality, let's see, new stove and fridge or this sword.... ?

It would look brilliant with bronze pommel. But it still looks great. Just the recess on the pommel should be a little "sharper" in my opinion. Other than that, no complaints.

It is a very nice looking sword. I Iove the way the handle turned out. Any chance of getting the guard and pommel in brass?

I thought it was going to be made with a bronze pommel though I am likely wrong. I love to see different grips produced and I see this as entirely plausible historically.
Yes, a very handsome sword indeed! Both the Oakeshott and the Chevalier have a unique character.

The pommels are bronze, but they apparently aren't show up as such on the posted pictures.

Very distinctive, I love it 
I don't think I've seen anything like the grip before either; it's great to see Albion offering more variety in grips. I'm also definitely a fan of rivets int he grip.

I think this grip is unique in the production market. I don't know that I've ever seen a grip like that reproduced, custom or otherwise even.
However, there are plenty of examples in period art. Here are a few from monumental brasses.

I love it! I would say: Now that is a knightly sword. Imagine the scabbad and belt that could be made to go with it.
I wonder how it handles.

That is a truly magnificent sword! I love the rivets and the bronze pommel. Albion has done it again, I'm going to have to start saving up!

This type of grip results very familiar for me, and for any person interested in medieval swords in Spain  .
There are some pics (sorry for the poor quality) of the "Santa Casilda" sword, a XIII century sacred sword exposed today in the Instituto del Conde de Valencia de Don Juan, in Madrid.
Not seen in the pics, but the cross and pommel are made in bronze.

I think I had heard that the guard was going to be changed, and I have to admit that I was a little disappointed. Foolish me! The whole sword is beautiful, but the guard alone makes me want this sword.
