I feel your distress. I am also looking for a 14th Century group down here in the WV-MD-VA area in the USA.

I think we are a bit too far from each other to start our own thought. Good luck.

We are in BC, but nowhere near Nelson. We have a 1372 event each year just outside of Victoria.

The DC area is the best place for reenacting medieval. La Belle Compagnie does 1381 and is in northern VA http://www.labelle.org/

As a member of La Belle, I know that we'd love for you to come out and meet us. Typically, our meetings are in Northern VA or southern MD, but we'll have the occasional meeting in PA. We have members in MD, DC, northern and central VA, up in PA in the south central York and Harrisburg areas and near Philly and NYC. Our next meeting is near Breezewood, PA, the weekend of 28 February and 1 March. We are getting ready for Military Through the Ages in Jamestown, VA 21-22 March as well as Marching Through Time at Marietta Mansion in southern MD 18-19 April. If you are interested, please contact the company through the link at the website.
