I want some infos to identify this sword. I think that it is a 1861 Austrian officer's sword. What is your opinions? Is it a 19th century sword or a WWI sword?

I think your assessment could be correct, however a similar pattern was also used by police. I would not have any idea as to the date. Is there a maker name or just "Solingen"? Are you a member of Sword Forum? If so, there is a gentleman there who is quite knowledgeable about swords Austria and Germany who could provide more information. If not, send me a PM and I will contact him on your behalf.

This sabre is Austrian infantry officers M 1861 but end of hilt is like Austrian military police M 1862. This sabre was in WW1 remaking.
There is only one art of fence yet many ways to reach it
