I asked Tod a while back if he could make a scabbard and hanger for my A&A Musketeer Rapier. As the sword has a rather military feel to it, and as I'm not particularly keen on flashy decoration like some of the Elizibethan kit that you see, I asked if he could do something simple in Black and Silver. Not cheap, but not too flash.
I also asked if he could sort out the grip on my Parrying Dagger, replacing the black leather grip with a wire-wrap. As exact matching sets would have been fairly rare, Tod decided to go for a brassy look rather than the blackened wire which is on the Rapier.
As usual I'm particularly pleased with the way Tod did these, and thought that I would share.
Cheers,
Darrin.
ps, the scabbard with the Dagger is the original from Arms and Armour.

I really like the little silver studs and their arrangement on the scabbard. Looks good.

Good work as seems to be the norm from what we're seeing here.

Thanks for the comments.
Ian. If you are looking at the detail on the Hanger, it is in fact alternate squares of stiching and embossing. Looking at the first picture I can see how the eye would be deceived so here is a closer shot. The lighting isn't great because I can't get outside to take any pictures...rain...still... but I hope this helps.
Cheers,
D.

Ah thanks, that's much clearer. Before I couldn't see the embossing. I really like the look of that.
