I'm hosting an armouring event the end of June. This is primarily geared towards SCA combat armour, BUT emphasizes getting people to step up the quality and accuracy of armour a notch or two (or three or four...). There are several of us who host these to try and get a few more people out of the crap that tends to dominate the SCA! Hopefully there will be a couple guys doing hot raising techniques. I *might* have my smelting furnace operational by then, but will definitely have a couple forges/furnaces going. Anyways, if anyone is interested, here's the main page with most of the details:
