I always love to look at photos of everyone else's armor. Anyone care to join me in posting some pictures of kits?

I've already started to discuss my late 13th C kit in another thread, but here are a few shots:

Those are some great pictures Ed. Thank you for posting them. Hopefully one day I will be able to add my own kit to this.

In the last picture without the helmet what sword is that? It does not look like your new Albion to me as the scabbard appears brown to me.

So who else will post pictures of your kit and or harness? I have seen in various threads what some of the people here have but it would be great to get them all together in one thread as a resource for all both to admire and get ideas for our own kits with.

That is spectacular Martin. The three of you look like you just walked out of a medieval painting. Is this picture from the event you posted about earlier? If so congratulations to both you, Anders, and all the others that were involved. What time period are you going for with your kits? Mid 14th century infantry?

Keep them coming people. The ideas are starting to flow.

Thank you, Scott!

The photo is from a article the local paper did on our group. Thats why I´m in my 15c kit and the other two are sporting 7c kit. The photografer was very good and took some exellent pictures.

You are most welcome Martin.

All three of you look good as I mentioned earlier. So I take it the two 7th C. are early Vikings and you are portraying a Man-at-Arms? Or am I totally wrong in my guesses as I was with my previous guess as to the time period?

I'm almost to embarrassed to post this, but, as I had already taken this pic last weekend for a "your hobby in one photo" project (school), here is my "kit".

Its all I have at the moment, and, though a really nice dogu, I know it's not what you're expecting. I have been looking for an inexpensive accurate yoroi, but aside from hanwei armor (I kind of like the "dragon" armor in particular), the price just is too much for now. For me, this armor gets more use than a real suit would anyway. I doubt it would fly if i came to the dojo in full battle dress. Eek!
lol. Its all about having fun with our hobbies though, right?

The pen is mightier than the sword, especially since it can get past security and be stabbed it into a jugular.
This site would be better if everytime I clicked submit... I got to hear a whip crack!

That sword was a place-holder, since my new Albion wasn't here yet. Those photos in front of the tent were taken back in March, so I just threw on one of my older CAS-Iberia swords.

I didn't have the crest made yet at the time either, though it was my first test-drive of the mail chausses and the new shield. I'm going to be adding my heraldic charges to the shield too, but so far I just have the color divisions that a friend painted for me (and did a beautiful job!).

Wow, where to start. All the kits look great.

Josh,
That is a nice looking harness. I like the action picture with the spear!

Gordon,
The kit looks good.

Alex,
As long as you are enjoying yourself and are happy then do it. I think it looks good.

Chuck and Chris,
Do either of you want to adopt a 38 year old so I can play with some of your cool stuff? Eek!

To all,
Thank you for posting and keep them coming. I hope to be able to add my own eventually. Even if it is bits and pieces as I can get them.

Thanks very much for your Kudos ... I have a couple other pictures of Chris, Ian and myself at Faire with the three of us in Armor ... I will see if I can get their permission to post them ... I think I have it figured out now ...
I have really enjoyed looking at the other Harnesses on this site ... I am working on a Migration era Helm - Ian and I completed a aged Sheild from the period and with the blackened mail hauberk that will be another option ...
I have tyo say it is really wonderful to have access to this site and all of the knowledge and common interest herein ...
