Well, that half the truth. It was a dead tree, but still, it looks cool.
You should have seen when we shoot a bodkin arrow straight through.

Those are some very nice pictures Martin. I know I would not mind seeing more pictures from the event if they are available. I also wondered the same thing that Hugo did about the sword in the tree trunk.

I can imagine how cool shooting the bodkin arrow yhrough the tree had to be as Anders said.

Thank you for posting about this.

It was a long intervju with the local paper. They wanted to know what we are up to. I´m still trying to get in touch with the fotografer to get the rest of the pics.

Also, I suppose that the interview explains what a 15th century men-at-arm is doing with two viking dudes on the second picture ? Laughing Out Loud

Tell us if you get the rest of the pictures. Happy

Martin,

Whatever did that tree do to offend you so badly? Laughing Out Loud I really enjoyed the picture of the motorcyclist on the highway while the reenactor with shield and spear waits for him to pass before crossing the road. I have to wonder what the motorcyclist thought when he saw the spearman!

Tack för hänvisning på artikeln. Bra jobbat!

Looks like you rise the interest of some potential sword enthusiasts in your area and can enlarge your group. Keep on with the old Viking tradition of having fun with fighting!
