I inherited this two hander from a friend many years ago and am hoping to get some information on it, as I am thinking of selling it, but want to learn it's worth 1st.
Weight is 6.4 lbs, total length is 59", handle and pommel length is 12". As you can see in the pictures the blade has very good flex. It has been used in light sparing by my friend which was at least 15 years ago and it has only sat on my wall since he gave it to me. So the blade has a some nicks in it and it wasn't kept oiled as much as it should of on his part. Thorough searching has not revealed any makers marks. It's a beautiful sword. A theory has been that it may be an Oscar Kolombotavich or American Fencers.
Anybody have any more info and possible worth?

Todd, I can't say for certain, but it looks an awful lot like an old Lutel that I saw at the Bristol Renaissance Faire last year. A few folk who portray the Queen's Guard had several examples of swords on a table for patrons to handle, and a sword very much like yours was there. Does yours have Lutel's trademark? It's a deeply stamped cruciform sword with wheel pommel.

Thanks for the input, Christopher. I've turned this thing up and down and there is no makers mark on it at all. It is at least a 15 year old sword.

No worries, Todd. It might be worth your while to e-mail a photo of it to the guys at Lutel and ask them if it's one of theirs.
