new catalogue has been out for a week or so now ...

http://www.hermann-historica.com/

Click on

Online catalogues to the left of the screen.

Then (I guess you will mainly be interested in):

Antique Arms & Armour, Hunting Antiques, Arts and Crafts

Then

Swords and Rapiers

towards the bottom ... and enjoy ... my area is more the militaria side of things, so I have been enjoying the later swords ...

Wow, some very interesting stuff out there...

This schiavona for instance is in great condition... and yet "almost" affordable... Laughing Out Loud

I have moved this topic to the Off-topic Talk forum.

Please note the description for this forum:

"Discussions of general history and other miscellaneous topics relating to arms and armour that do not specifically fit our other forums"

Since you're just pointing out a link, the Off-Topic Talk forum is the correct location.

Thank you.

hi!

nice pieces...but be aware the word "historismus" in the description text means its a replica, and no original. thats why the Longsword is "only" 1.250 €'s.

The secret is,
to keep that pointy end thingy away from you...
