We are pleased to announce that we will be carrying 6mm chainmail armor at Icefalcon Armory.

Our 6mm chainmail is a very historically correct chainmail that was used from the day s of the Roman empire right into the middle ages. It is a 4 riveted links in one solid link design. This is not only very strong but considerably lighter than even the flat lnik riveted mail.

I will be posting pictures as soon as our fist run is complete.

Hi Andre,

Will this new kind of mail be more expensive than your current flat riveted mail offers ? Because I suppose the production costs will be up a bit...

Hello Andre!

Are these wedge or pin riveted?

Thanks!

These items are slightly higher in cost than the stainless flat riveted items. The upside is that there is much more labor in these items and they are supposed to be lighter and stronger than the standard flat ring chainmail. The design is also very period for many harnesses.

They are pin riveted.

Cheers!
