Well since it's discussing reproductions, hopefully this is the right forum. If not, feel free to move.
I was reading my copy of A Knight and His Weapons when I ran across a place where Oakeshott says (talking about burning in grips) "Since I make swords as well as write about and draw them, I speak from practical experience".
I know Oakeshott did repair/restoration work on some of his collection, but has anyone (maybe Craig as caretaker of his collection) seen any of these Oakeshott made swords?
