That's Rutger Hauer in one of his best roles ever, the cursed knight Etienne Navarre in
Ladyhawke.

Amazingly good movie. The sword was unusually nice and practical, too, despite the gaudy stones.

And the titular "Ladyhawke" was heartbreakingly cute, too. At least by night. But then, she
was Michelle Pfeiffer. At least by night.

All in all, one of my all-time favorite fantasy films, with some surprising (but good!) celebrity casting choices. The end is so sweet I still choke up every time...
