I certainly did! I'm appreciating daggers and knives much more thanks to this site.
It's tough to find bare sword blades, but knife and dagger blades are pretty easy to come by. That fact, coupled with the information and inspiration I find in articles like these, has really sparked my interest and driven me to the workbench lately. When I have a question about construction, I come to the fora here and get informed answers.

Very good articles and I'm glad that a maker in my area is getting a little exposure: I haven't ordered anything from him at this point in time but from his web site one can see that he forges his blades and a lot of his work shows a great deal of aesthetic sense.
On the plus side no border or custom brokerage fees to worry about if ordering in Canada and it's good to support local craftsmen.
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

An excellent grouping of reviews and terrific writing. Although a big dagger and knife enthusiast, I'm still not greatly drawn to rondels but nice pictures and information are always a pleasure to see.

Great reviews, guys. Tod's Stuff appears to do excellent renditions of rondels, and it's obvious you folks couldn't be happier with your purchases. Good looking daggers!

A nice Christmas present, thanks - and well done!
I'm also happy that Tod has found such good critique in this forum. I introduced him to Chad when discussing my dagger project as a novice, and now it seems that even more guys have ordered their daggers from him.

Do you know if Tod based that dagger on anything in particular? A historic dagger with a very similar blade and pretty similar all-steel hilt used to be in the Howard Curtis collection. I'm not sure who bought it when his collection was auctioned off by Christie's in 1984. If my scanner hadn't died, I'd post a pic.

Here is the dagger I was referring to. It was formerly in the Howard Curtis Collection. I'm not sure where it is now.
It's said to be "probably French," mid-15th century.
This is my first scan with the new scanner, and I need to figure out how to get better quality pictures....
