I think we should have a big wish list of what everyone wishes to get for christmas or in the near future, whether its treating yourself to some new gauntlets, sticking them on your christmas list or indulging in a new sword stick it on here!

Also put things you wish to get in the near future.

Remember keep it to arms and armour, no Ipod touch-screen phones etc. Razz

Humans trail a path of light, all land and space that hasnt been trodden by man is dark, all dark must be trodden to bring illumination, so that all others can follow the light that we bring.

Dear Santa,

For this Christmas (or Yule) please give me the new Albion Valkyrja, the Doge, and the Soldat. I've been very, very good! Big Grin

P.S. For my wife, I think she'd like a Vassal. No, just kidding: that's for me, too! Wink

Nice idea. Happy

My "short list" ( the long one would be... long Wink ):

1: A slightly fantasy-ish ATrim 1508 with a hilt by Christian Fletcher ( already ordered... I really, really want to have it! )

2: A good 15th century set of clothes for the 2008 fair season. And some monk robes for carnival. Wink

3: The start of my "get some armour project" ( I'm thinking of a good gambeson and a visorless sallet ).

4: Some more swords ( a heavier warsword, a nice single-hander, an Albion Liechtenauer... I'll stop before this turns into the long list ).

I'll probably get 1 and parts of 2 *keeps fingers crossed*. Even if it'll take until february, I consider it a christmas gift, as it will be paid for by chrismas money.

@Douglas: But I still want an XBOX with assassin's creed! Razz

1) A Sovereign with a bronze pommel and brown grip, and although there is only one example I know of in existence, I would also like the bronze cross guard.

2) An Angus Trim blackened tac longsword.

3) (this is last on the list because it is not a reality at this stage, although it would be top of my list in choice) A XIIa inspired sword by Peter Johnsson of smaller proportions than the Baron (more the size of the Count & Steward) with wheel pommel that has hollowed faces to insert disks, rivet block, straight but slightly flared octagonal cross guard with incised lines just outside the width of the blade edge on the cross guard, dark blue grip with single risers at each end and in the middle, with all hilt furniture finished in that very attractive polish he has done on some of his swords in the last couple of years, and a single incised line just outside the fuller on one side only (another feature I have seen on one of his swords). This XIIa is certainly not fully historically correct but I think it would be hell of a good looking sword.

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, but that which it protects. (Faramir, The Two Towers)

I'd be perfectly happy with just two items:

- Albion "Lady Vivamus"
- one-way ticket to Barsoom

Well, alright... to be quite honest, I'd be perfectly happy with even just the first one, but the latter would be a HUGE bonus. Happy

Andrew, it's Christmas...save yourself the pain of decision making and just have both of them on your list.

Like Tim, I'd really just like to get everything I've ordered and am waiting on. I have a dagger en route to me from Arma Bohemia. They're also making a knife that's due to be shipped in a few weeks.

There are plenty of things on my wish list, but I'm running out of room in this house. Happy

I have a hilt coming soon from E.B. Erickson, and while I don't expect to see it before the holidays are over this has been on my wish list for years and I'm so excited I almost don't care that I don't have a blade for it...

Oh yeah, since we're wishing how about an Albion Tyrolean leaning against the tree on that magic morning??? I really wish they would get this one out but I'm sure it will be worth the wait and if it came out now it'd probably be sold out by the time I could afford one anyway.
