Thanks guys,
I will see about getting more photos when I get off of work tonight. I do have a hauberk to got under it but I hate wearing it, plus it still has the zinc coating. You deffinatly right about the clothing, very much so for a pourpoint, hosen and shoes. I wont go into the "hedge" system I have right now for keeping my legs up
P.S. thanks to whoever fixed the photo (a moderator I presume)

Looks good. I was wondering how you kept your leg defenses up? Oleg Yanchuk is working on a brigandine, arms, and leg defenses for me. We were able to get everything finalized as how it will look and material. Now I'm waiting on a measuring tape to get to me here in Iraq. My girl friend has shipped one out to me. He also has a seamstress working on an arming coat for me. How do you like the splinted greaves? I have a pourpoint from Historic Enterprises that works great to hold up the leg defenses. It's very comfortable and easy to wear. Have you found the armorer for your gauntlets? I'll post my completed armor when I get back to the United States again.

Well the hedge system I use is the old heavy belt and suspenders bit. I have not decided whether to go with Historic Enterprises or Revival Clothing for the pourpoint. I love the greaves as they are light and flexable behond that of full steel greaves. As far as the gauntlets I was going to go with Knights Armoury but I heard he got sick and fell out of the armouring game at least for the time being so I dont know.

Sorry I should have said earlier. The bascinet is from Steel-mastery, the arms and greaves are from Merc Tailor. the brigandine is from Windlass, the legs are from James River armoury and the mail is from Kings Lance. I had originaly got arms from James River but they were horible and replaced them with the Merc Tailor ones which I can not say enough good about and Allen's customer survice is incredible

Thought I recognized those greaves. The Windlass brigantine looks pretty good or at least I like the look of it: I know the construction is not historically accurate to a true brigantine but somewhat closer to a coat of plates but it does resemble some that I've seen in funeral effigies at least superficially.
I only mention this if it's for a very strict living history group that would not find it accurate enough for their use: Personally I like it and have looked at it on the Kult of Athena. Any small review about it would be appreciated.
For the gauntlets the Mercenary Tailors Wisby would be good for pre 1350 or so. Allan might be willing to make a later hourglass version closer to what you might like that isn't in his standard line?
His customer service is the best though and he might be able to give you some advice if you P.M. him.
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!
