I am no expert, but to me the hilt has a indian feel to it, whereas the blade seems different

Looks like the same company that made the one I have. They're been making them for several deacades at least for tourist trade/wallhanger market as I got mine back in the early 80's. They make red and blue velvet covered sheaths and horse head as well as tulwar type hilts. I don't know if they're still around or not as I got mine so long ago. Does the blade say "made in india" at the base of the blade and have a "sqiggly" decorative etching above that for something like half the length of the blade?
