Hello all-

My group is again Co-hosting the Janesville Renaissance Faire with the Janesville Jaycees, in Janesville WI on 5/19-20/2007. We are raising money to support the Jaycees community projects and bring some new events to the city itself.

This year we have about doubled our vendors and performers. Of particular note to myArmoury forumites:

The guys from OlliN Sword Designs are coming out to sell their blades. We're very excited to have them out!

Bob Charron, renowned western martial arts instructor and head of St. Martin's Academy, will be teaching lessons on his translation of Fiore di Liberi's Flos Duellatorum during the day.

Joe Loder of Lonewolf Chainmaille will be out displaying some of his new products.

For those that are fans of Bristol we have Molly and the Tinker performing, Robin Hood and Little John's 7 Deadly Sins, Brent Allan's Moltov's Magic, and lots of other performers.

We'll be firing off cannons, hopefully blowing up some more mellons, and having a good old time!

I am currently working on getting some different contests set up, but right now we will be having a Fool Competition to tie in with Bristol's Feast of Fools theme with the prizes being donated by our merchants and the Bristol Faire itself!

I am also working on having a display set up in our area of several different high end makers including Albion, Arms and Armor, Darkwood Armoury and more!

Hope to see you all there!

We're hoping to raise enough money to again help support the Janesville Jaycees's 4th of July Fireworks for the city.

Looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend!
