Jean,
I haven't seen or handled this one in person. but I don't know if I've seen any historical piece that looks like it. The guard looks like an elongated version of the standard Castillion guard, but the pommel is quite unusual. The blade looks like it isn't too thick; with its narrow width I wonder if it will be a decent thruster or if it will be too flexible in the blade.
These are all just guesses, though, and from looking at one or two not-so-great pictures of the sword on the web.

Thanks chad thats a start at any rate. At least I know it is in fact a fairly new design. Isn't there a Windlass or MRL guy who posts here sometimes?
