Basically there are lot of information regarding European, Japanese, Persian armours but almost nothing on Medieval Indian or Chinese armors. When I say Medieval, I mean Tang Dynasty China and 8th to 10th century India with her three major states, Pala, Gujjar-Pariharas and Rashtrakutas.
Basically what kind of armours Indian soldiers at rajasthan war and Chinese soldiers at Battle of Talas would had been wearing. I am not looking for a comparison between the two just general info as so far I am unable to find any. So, if you guys have some info or could direct me to right places to dig for this info, it will be awesome. :D

Try browsing the ATARN site. I think one of the letters or articles on the "closed quiver" has pictures of Tang or earlier murals and/or reliefs of soldiers in armour.
