The Medieval Armour From Rhodes

This unique work tracks down the scattered armour from the fortress of Rhodes which fell to Turkish seige in 1522. The armour was either seen as useless or not worthy of trophy at the time so simply left to sit. It presents a one of a kind collection of working armour from average knight and soldiers, replete with working life time repairs and demonstrates how long armour stayed in service, with armour from the 1430's still in use at the time of the seige. Includes microscopic analysis of over 20 pieces to determine if attempts were made to temper them. Amazon has one used copy at $530. $150.00 plus shipping does it.
