This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available
This is the super-rare book Armi e Armature Lombarde by Lionello Boccia, Francesco Rossi, and Marco Morin.
This is even more rare than Boccia's much-sought-after Armi Bianche Italiane. It is a large book, taller than Armi Bianche, though not as thick. It has 362 pictures of Italian period art and arms and armour, mostly in black and white, though a good number are in colour. A spectacular book. As with other publications by Boccia, this is rich in high quality photographs. The Lombardic region of Italian has produced many fine examples of arms and armour, and this book really showcases them.
This book was published in 1980 and is in very good shape. The dust jacket (protected by a heavy clear protector) has some shelfwear and very minor tearing. The book itself is in good shape with no structural issues that I can find and minimarl shelfwear.
A few years ago, copies that came up were selling for $700 or more. But the market has softened somewhat.
Asking $599 or best offer plus shipping and handling. Money orders accepted; PayPal preferred (add 3% for PayPal transactions).
I'm always interested in trade offers both from makers and other collectors for weapons, armour, interesting books on European arms & armour, etc. Trade offers from custom scabbard makers would be especially intriguing.
Below are pics from the actual book, showing the cover, some period art, and random other pages to give an idea of the photo quality (though not of my picture taking skills :) ).

This great book is still available for sale or trade. :)
There are items from many makers I'd take in trade. For example, there are several things on Arma Bohemia's or A&A's in-stock page that I'd consider in trade. You might be able to buy the item and trade it to me for less cash than I'm asking for. Just a thought. :)

New price on this great book: $559 plus s/h or best offer. Trade offers will still be entertained.
Here are trade ideas:
Cash + trade (cash amount negotiable):
A&A 005 (Wallace Collection) warhammer
A&A Discontinued dragon warhammer
A&A Burgundian poleaxe
13th-15th century daggers by Tod’s Stuff
13th-15th century daggers by Arma Bohemia
Scottish dirks
Other ideas for a possible straight-up trade:
Used Albion gladii or other quality gladius
Custom scabbard for Albion Sempach, Gaddhjalt, or Baron (preferably without me having to ship the sword for fitting)
Other nifty swords
There are certain items I really would love to trade for and offers I’d readily accept. For example, I’d take either of the A&A hammers above + $150 in cash for this book; no argument here. :) The Wallace hammer is new at $320; you could buy it and have it shipped to me, give me $150 and still get this book for less than my current asking price.
