This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available
Due to an impending PCS (military move, in layman's terms) overseas to a location where the laws frown upon edged weapons, I must sadly sell my Albion Kingmaker that was purchased last summer. She's a fine sword and my favorite type of blade from Albion but the necessity of my career dictates that she must find a new home.
The leather grip is "campaign worn" light brown and the hilt fittings have been antiqued. Included is a black plastic foam-padded rifle case. The sword has been dry handled (never cut with), oiled, and some very minor rust polished out with Noxon7 and fine grit pads (the gray Scotch Brite pads as recommended by owners of Albion swords) - such spots (note that they have since been removed) are par for the course with owning these types of blades for any length of time as part of routine maintenance but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Specs from Albion's web site:
Overall length: 39.25" (99.7 cm)
Blade length: 32.25" (81.9 cm)
Blade width: 1.87" (4.75 cm)
CoG: 4.25" (10.58 cm)
CoP: 19.75" (50.2 cm)
Weight: 2 lbs 13 oz (1.275 kg)
Brand new from Albion, this sword would cost you $1270 ($1200 Kingmaker + $50 antiqued fittings + $20 rifle case). I'm asking for $1000 firm shipped in the 48 States. I accept check, money order, and Paypal.
To sweeten the deal, the buyer also secures my place in DBK's queue for a scabbard and/or belt (the $50 deposit has already been paid, but the scabbard and/or belt are up to the buyer to purchase if he or she so desires). The estimated time frame for this place in Brian's queue is sometime in March of 2011. Visit http://www.dbkcustomswords.com/ for more information and picture examples of Brian's work.
I'll try to take better quality pictures but the in the meantime this cellphone camera photo will have to suffice for now (the Kingmaker is the one on the bottom, of course):

Correction:
Brand new from Albion, this sword would cost you $1300 ($1200 Kingmaker + $50 antiqued fittings + $30 shipping + $20 rifle case). I'm asking for $1000 firm shipped in the 48 States. I accept cashier's check, money order, and PayPal (please add +3% to the final amount if PayPal is used).

Thought I'd try to move this again.
Due to an impending move to a location where the laws frown upon edged weapons, I must sadly sell my Albion Kingmaker that was purchased last summer. She's a fine sword and my favorite type of blade from Albion but the necessity of my career dictates that she must find a new home.
The leather grip is "campaign worn" light brown and the hilt fittings have been antiqued. Included is a black plastic foam-padded rifle case. The sword has only been dry handled (never cut with), oiled, and well cared for.
Specs from Albion's web site:
Blade Type: XVIII
Overall length: 39.25" (99.7 cm)
Blade length: 32.25" (81.9 cm)
Blade width: 1.87" (4.75 cm)
CoG: 4.25" (10.58 cm)
CoP: 19.75" (50.2 cm)
Weight: 2 lbs 13 oz (1.275 kg)
Brand new from Albion, this sword would cost you $1300 ($1200 Kingmaker + $50 antiqued fittings + $30 shipping + $20 rifle case). In addition, Albion is scheduled to raise their prices for all their swords starting in August 2010 so the MSRP will be even higher very soon.
For this particular sword, I'm asking for $950 firm shipped in the 48 United States (additional shipping charges apply for outside the Continental USA). That's a savings of well over 25% off. I accept check, money order, and Paypal (please add +3% to the final amount if PayPal is used).

Due to several inquiries on the subject, I wanted to clarify that I cannot accept any trades, sorry, only monetary payment. Thank you.

Sure, I don't see why not. I'll have to check with UPS (the carrier I will be using) for any complications with customs and a final price quote, however. Thanks for your interest.
