I have several items up for sale. Custom projects necessitate selling a few items. If you are interested in several or all of the pieces, let me know, I will further discount them.
Up for sale is my Paul Chen Bearded Axe.
Cutting tools of the Vikings commonly doubled as weapons of war when these famed raiders sailed on pillaging forays. Their axes were certainly top of the list and came to symbolize the terror spread among their foes. Varying greatly in size, from small throwing axes to the mighty Danish Axe, these were the most commonly used weapons of these Nordic warriors. Paul Chen’s Bearded Axe (1073-GT) is typical pattern, capable of cleaving helms or armour with impunity. These were used by the Vikings in 10th century Scandinavia and 11th century Britain.
OVERALL LENGTH: 30 ½”
AXE HEAD: 8 ½”
CUTTING EDGE: 5 ¾”
WEIGHT: 4lbs 6oz
I have not used this axe for any cutting and is in new-like condition. It was only used for display purposes.
Suggested retail $85
The price for this beautiful and historical axe is $75.00 (this includes shipping/handling and insurance within the CONUS). I accept money orders and personal checks.
Thanks for looking. If you have any questions, PM or email me.
