Hi all, I'm selling this sword, based on a 13th century museum piece.

Stats from 'Art of Swordmaking' site:

total lenght 967mm
bladse length 812mm
blade width 55mm
grip 97mm
balance ca. 120mm
weight ca. 1120g

Edge: it has the geometry of a sharp, but is in an unsharpened or 'butterknife' state.

Maciej says 'It is a classic example of 13th century one handed swords present in whole Europe on the battlefields. Very simple, universal and effective weapon. Actually the essence of medieval sword. It is light and balanced slightly forward'

I agree. It's simple and has Maciej's typical finish (not as refined as e.g., Albion) but IMHO its the most perfect handling medieval sword I have owned, and I have owned many. That is subjective of course, but I've been using this as my practice sword for the last year and enjoyed it a lot.

I would like $950US for this, including paypal charges and shipping within continental North America. Beyond that area is negotiable.

I should mention that its in excellent shape. I only used it for brief non-contact practice sessions about once per week.

Gone are the days when I used to spend an hour every day.
