Hi All
A few of my works from recent months.
A little more fun in decorating.
Now I am working on a hussar saber for a friend, but I will show later.
Have a nice viewing, best regards.

Talent. Historical. Integrity. Beauty. Artful. Classic. EXCELLENCE Personified.

TK, in an odd way I'm glad you post your work " less often " -- or so it seems to me --
because I'd run out of words to describe how extraordinary your work and talent are.

I think these are some of the nicest swords I have seen. Your work is beautiful and the details you add take these to world class art level

Thank you, Mark Moore. I hope it will be good.

Thank you Kem. I think your hussar saber will be better than mine. I am a little bit jealous. Happy

It's hard to add anything more than the above than this is really high level art.

The designs and look of hilt and blades is gorgeous even if they where left plain, but the added decoration and detail work is of very good taste and sober designs that look just right: Beautiful work.

The swords/sabers of this style do give the distinct impression of their being period authentic looking, even if they are original work not based on specific swords: They don't have the CNC made look of " Too perfect " modern work, although I can't see any flaws in the very nice lines in blade or hilt.

You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

You can show us anything you want, even each week, I'll not get bored!

I'm looking forward to know more about your project of a "more accessible fighting weapon". That's intriguing. Hope it will turn well soon.

Once again, I would like to thank all my colleagues.
In most of the works he uses original examples of sabers.
They are often my interpretation.
I am glad that I am able to reproduce the character of the old weapon.
This is a big pleasure.
Original examples and photos from the workshop.
Greetings Tomek

Big Grin I am the happy owner of the first saber shown here, the karabela.
I wanted a weapon representative of those used by light cavalrymen in the late 17th century, a battle weapon, not a nobleman's costume accessory. Of course, a smith who can see and handle original is the way to go. Tomek's work has a lot of character, one can see that it is handcraft.
This saber cut even better than it looks, awesome edges! In comparison with French regulations sabers of the 1st half of the 19th century I am practicing HEMA with, it has the weight of a Foot officer's saber and the balance of a light cavalry 1822 pattern, but as it is more curved, the weight is rather behing the hand in the strike.
Conditions were reasonable and communication with Tomek really easy, even with none of us being a native english writer.
I am looking forward for scheduling another Polish saber.

I don't usually like to comment on topics where I have very little knowledge, but these pieces really blow my mind. I didn't know this type could come with a long straight cross like medieval swords. To me the reproduction, with the multiple fullers, is even more beautiful than the original.
