I have a pair of gauntlets made by Ugo Serrano. I picked these up a few years ago and they have been the pride of my collection. I understand these were Ugo's personal SCA gauntlets and the workmanship is amazing.
They have the enclosed finger and thumb tips and the articulation is something special.
The right gauntlet has the knuckle rider plate that dissapears when the hand is opened.
They even have little channels worked into the plates on the inside to clear the rivets so they don't bind up.
The reason they are up here is that I am offering them for sale. I have ummed and ahhed about selling them but there is a Batman suit that would be perfect for our show coming from Universal Designs.
I am asking AUD$2000 + postage

And tilt at windmills under a wild sky!
For who would live so petty and unblessed
That dare not tilt at something, ere he die?"
