This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

For sale is this beautiful La Tene era sword by Patrick Barta. The sword is continental in design and the scabbard decoration is Irish in influence.

Price: $1500.00

Given the current exchange rate puts this sword at $2158.00 USD this is quite a bargain. The sword is in mint condition and will ship in the wooden box Patrick sent it in.

Payment by PayPal or Money Order (4% price increase to cover PayPal fees if that method is used)
Sale to CONUS only.
No Trades.

Beautiful work, Patrick Barta does some great things.

Can you give more specs on the hilt? Do you know what wood it is constructed with, or is that a section of bone in the center? As for the brass on the pommel, is that a screwed on element or is it peened?

The center section on the grip is bone, I don't know what types of wood are included in the grip. The bronze cap is peened in place.

Due to the PMs I've been getting, apparently my initial post was more confusing than I had anticipated.

So please allow me to reiterate the salient points so hopefully all concerned parties can gain a good comprehension of the subject at hand.

The PRICE is $1500.00 ($2158.00 is the price you'd pay Patrick Barta in USD after a currency conversion, that's why it's a pretty smokin' deal)

The price is in United States Dollars (that's why that S with the vertical lines through it is there)

Currently this sale is to the Continental United States of America not France, Australia, Outer Mongolia or wherever.

Thank you.
