Some info and a small pricedrop;

Price now 700€.

As stated before the helmet is based on period art by Hans Hirtz and Paul Dolnstein. This helmet-type can be seen worn by Swedish peasant soldiers; http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/download.php?id=1474 and also more exact here; http://www.uni-leipzig.de/ru/bilder/passion2/hirtz02.jpg
The helmet is also inspired by several originals in museums and has some obvious details from the 'Black-Sallet' in the Churburg armoury. Albert Collins made this "Black-kettle-sallet" come alive. It is ofcourse handforged (but not from one peice otherwise it would cost double), and also has a fully handground surface, handsewn lining and is perhapse the only helmet out there that has hand-tanned leather works.
