This original dagger comes from the creative mind of Al Massey. The blade is pattern-welded. The grip is of bone with horn spacers and bronze hilt furniture. The pommel is "forked," reminiscent of a basilard with a crescent pommel or the more stylized "flames" noted on X.6 in Ewart Oakeshott's Records of the Medieval Sword.
