Original: Mid-15th century
This sword is made in the style of mid-15th century longswords. The blade is fairly broad at the base but tapers to an acute point reinforced with a diamond cross-section. Its fuller is quite long, running to within 8.5 inches of the tip. The steel guard has a slight ridge at the cusp, and the arms of the guard taper gently in width before widening into slightly clubbed ends. The grip is long enough for two hands when grasping the pommel. The pommel itself is long and has eight facets. The whole assembly is secured by a pommel nut that appears to be threaded and peened. Included was a leather scabbard with metal mounts.
