Hello,
There is a single depiction of helmet, in the Holkham picture bible, that looks similar to the Tiberias Helmet from Kingdom of Heaven. In the attached picture it is in the lower half, second from the left. Are there any other depictions of such a helmet, especially from the 14th century?
Does anyone have the helmet? 'Cause I'd like to know how big it is (so I know if it'll fit my head).
Thanks.
P.S. It is 'aged' anyone know what would be used? Would this effect the structural soundness of the helmet?

I dont have the Tiberias helmet but I do have the Iblin helmet. The helmet is a good size for me ( about 23" - 24" in cir.) but the liner it comes with is a bit to bulky to be worn with padding and/or mail and had to be removed. The "ageing" will not effect the soundness of the helm as it is cosmetic only ( more like it was left half polished). I acctualy liked it becuase it made the helm easier to paint. I hope this helps.
