I've been trying to reserch a find in northen russia (unsure) at the gravefields of kazazovo and have hit a rut any info however small would be greatly appriciated

Hi Trent

Gorellick mentions it and has drawings of the armour and equipment found at Kazazovo in the book Companion to Medieval arms and armour.
T gorod a russian site has a few pics too!

I have these pics pm me!

I think its Saltov - Khazar culture, though I cant read Russian well, I emailed the owner of T gorod and from memory he said its Saltov culture.

Have you got these pics? http://images.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=htt...f%26sa%3DG because some repros of the helmet I have seen dont look close enough to the original. Kick his bum to do it well LOL !
