Some very interesting pieces shown on the Marischal Museum's Virtual website (links below).
* The pictured sword that is supposed to be a John Allan baskethilt obviously is not, as it does not match the descriptive text, nor looks like his work, but otherwise some cool information .... a nice Walter Allan that I've not seen before, too!
The early dirks are quite awesome and look quite similar to some of the ones Vince, Grace, & I, studied at the MOS Reserve in 2005.
