OK, so here's the idea- The soil and rocks on Mars are rich in iron right- So let's put 2 and 2 together.
"Private company sends mission to Mars to collect rocks for swords and maile". Here's the sales pitch.
"FOR THE BESTEST WEAPONS IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM!!" Screw the science- Who's with me?
