I was going to purchase either the Sir William Marshall or the Albrecht and I was wondering if anyone has purchased this sword or knows any good or bad things about it.
Here are some pics

Thanks

I have this sword, and it certainly is very pretty. It handles quite nicely, and feels like it has a reasonably strong construction. However, it's not really something to cut stuff with, as it comes pretty much blunt. Edged, but blunt..
One historical reference describes an English knight, named Billefort, using a maul weighing twenty-five pounds when fighting, in 1315, a combat against French knights.

Nice, thanks guys. I am capable of puting an edge on the sword so that is not a big issue.

Yeah, but I thought this was about the Albrecht sword?

It is about the Albrecht, I wanted to know because there is no review of this sword and there is for the William.
Also, does anyone know about the tang? Rat tail or no?

Ah, righty.
