Last week I got three blades ready for black oxide, one test piece, two customer pieces. Today I got the test piece back, and it not only looks good, but is still sharp enough to cut paper. That was a concern I had, sometimes adding a patina tends to dull the blade, didn't happen this time........

Well, it works on 1911s, why not swords?
Seriously, it sounds interesting.
