I was wondering if there exists a well documented source for different types of brest plates and who they where used by though out the centuries? A Web or Book source would be great. Also, seince brest plates apparently didn't make much of a resurgence in Europe untill the late middle/high middle ages, sources covering armour outside maille for those periods would be excelent as well.
